Swachetna Foundation organized a grocery donation program at C. R. Ranganathan School for Deaf & Mute, Tingare Nagar, Lane No. 01, Pune, with the aim of supporting students and contributing to their well-being.
During the visit, Principal Mr. Bhosale and Rishikesh Sir shared valuable insights about the needs and challenges faced by specially-abled students. The school also highlighted the need for support to develop better residential facilities in the area for the students.
Our volunteers took a meaningful step toward inclusion by interacting with the students through sign language and learning basic signs from them. We also discovered that many students have a strong interest and talent in drawing and creative activities. 🎨😊
As part of the initiative, Swachetna Foundation donated groceries worth ₹5,000 to support the school and its students.
