Swachetna Foundation continues to work towards creating a compassionate society by extending care and support to stray animals and abandoned cattle, especially during the hot summer season when access to food and water becomes increasingly difficult.
Recognizing the hardships faced by stray dogs and cows, the Foundation launched an initiative to place water containers at roadside locations, ensuring that thirsty animals could access clean drinking water. Volunteers also distributed food, provided basic medical assistance to injured dogs, and helped animals safely cross busy roads whenever required.
As part of the initiative, the Foundation visited Krishnai Goshala, Vadgaon Shinde, Pune, where Mr. Yogesh Shinde has been selflessly caring for elderly and abandoned cows that were left behind after becoming unproductive. His dedication to protecting and nurturing these animals reflects a deep commitment to animal welfare.
During the visit, Swachetna Foundation contributed cattle feed, medicines, and other essential supplies to support the ongoing care of the cows at the goshala. The team appreciated the efforts of Mr. Yogesh Shinde and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting organizations and individuals working for the welfare of animals.
Through this initiative, Swachetna Foundation promoted the values of kindness, compassion, environmental responsibility, and animal welfare, encouraging the community to protect and care for all living beings.
