Swachetna Foundation, in collaboration with Murali Krishna Pharma Pvt. Ltd., Shirur, organized a Cervical Cancer Awareness Program at Jeevan Vikas Mandir Madhyamik Vibhag, Shirur, Pune, with the objective of educating adolescent girls about one of the most preventable forms of cancer affecting women.

The awareness session focused on cervical cancer, its causes, symptoms, risk factors, personal hygiene, preventive measures, and the importance of early detection. Students were also guided on healthy lifestyle practices and the importance of seeking timely medical advice whenever necessary.

With the expert guidance of our volunteer Dr. Bhagyashree Patil, the participants received accurate and easy-to-understand information about Human Papillomavirus (HPV), the role of the HPV vaccine in preventing cervical cancer, and various initiatives undertaken by the Government of India to promote women's health and preventive healthcare.

The Foundation sincerely thanks the Principal of Jeevan Vikas Mandir and Mrs. Shahane for providing the opportunity to conduct this important awareness session and for encouraging students to participate actively.
