
Swachetna Foundation, in collaboration with Murali Krishna Pharma Pvt. Ltd., Shirur, organized a Cervical Cancer Awareness Program at Vidyadham Vidyalaya, Shirur, Pune, with the objective of creating awareness among adolescent girls about cervical cancer and the importance of preventive healthcare.
The awareness session focused on educating students about cervical cancer, its causes, symptoms, risk factors, personal hygiene, preventive measures, and the importance of early detection. Participants were also guided on maintaining good reproductive health and adopting healthy lifestyle practices.
Under the expert guidance of Dr. Bhagyashree Patil, the students received valuable information about the Human Papillomavirus (HPV), the benefits of HPV vaccination, and the importance of regular health check-ups. The session also highlighted the Government of India's initiatives for cervical cancer prevention and women's health awareness.
Swachetna Foundation extends its heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Devikar (Senior Teacher), Mr. Naik (Vice Principal), and Mr. Wanve (Principal) of Vidyadham Vidyalaya for providing the opportunity to conduct this educational program and encouraging students to actively participate.
