Swachetna Foundation organized a Diwali Product Stall at Lunkad Queens Land, Viman Nagar, Pune, with the objective of empowering specially abled students through entrepreneurship and community participation.
The stall showcased Diwali Lakshmi Pujan Hampers and hand-painted clay lamps prepared by the talented students of C. R. Rangnathan School of Mute & Deaf, Tingare Nagar, Pune. The students actively participated in the event, gaining practical experience in product marketing, customer interaction, and sales while confidently presenting their creations to visitors.
The Foundation expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Miss Neeta Patil, Chairperson, and Mr. Rangari, Manager, for their generous support. They promoted the students' products through their WhatsApp groups and provided space in the society's garden area to set up the stall, helping the initiative reach a larger audience.
The event received an encouraging response from society residents, who appreciated the students' creativity and enthusiastically supported the initiative by purchasing the products. The experience boosted the students' confidence and encouraged them to become more self-reliant.
The stall was successfully coordinated by Project Manager Nilisha Jadhav with the support of dedicated volunteers Satyam, Vanshika, Renuka, Divya, Shreya, Nitesh, Sakshi, and Shruti, whose teamwork ensured the success of the program.
Through this initiative, Swachetna Foundation continued its mission of promoting skill development, financial independence, and social inclusion by creating meaningful opportunities for specially abled students.
