Swachetna Foundation organized a Free Health Check-up Camp at Shifa Clinic, Kalwad Wasti, Pune, with the objective of improving access to preventive healthcare for underprivileged communities.
The camp offered a wide range of free health screenings, including heart health assessment, kidney and liver function evaluation, calcium levels, haemoglobin (HB), pulse rate, blood pressure (BP), blood sugar testing, and other essential health parameters. The initiative aimed to promote early detection of health issues and encourage regular medical check-ups.
The camp benefited more than 100 senior citizens and over 80 middle-aged men and women, ensuring that individuals who often have limited access to healthcare received timely medical attention and guidance.
Swachetna Foundation extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Sayyed Hamid Daud, who played a vital role in organizing the camp by arranging the seating facilities, coordinating the overall event, and deploying two nursing staff members to ensure the smooth management of the health check-up.
The Foundation also acknowledges the valuable support of Ayush Pathology Laboratory, which efficiently coordinated the collection of blood samples and ensured that diagnostic reports were delivered directly to the patients' homes, making healthcare services more accessible and convenient.
Through this initiative, Swachetna Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to community healthcare, preventive medicine, and improving the quality of life for economically disadvantaged families by providing accessible and affordable medical services.
