Swachetna Foundation organized a Grocery Donation Program at C. R. Rangnathan School of Mute & Deaf, Tingare Nagar, Pune, with the aim of supporting specially abled students and understanding their educational and daily living needs.
During the visit, our team met with Principal Mr. Bhosale and Mr. Rishikesh, who shared valuable insights into the challenges faced by students with hearing and speech impairments. They also highlighted the school's vision of developing better residential facilities to provide a safe and comfortable living environment for its students.
The Foundation donated grocery essentials worth ₹5,000 to support the school's day-to-day requirements and contribute towards the well-being of the students.
Our volunteers spent meaningful time interacting with the students by learning and communicating through sign language, creating a warm and inclusive environment. The team was delighted to discover that many students possess exceptional drawing and artistic skills, showcasing their creativity and talent.
The donation drive was successfully coordinated by our dedicated volunteer Nilisha, whose efforts helped make the program impactful and memorable.
Through this initiative, Swachetna Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to inclusive education, community support, and empowering specially abled children by recognizing their talents and addressing their essential needs.
