
Swachetna Foundation organized a Grocery Donation Program at C. R. Rangnathan School of Mute & Deaf, Tingare Nagar, Pune, in collaboration with Tata Steel, demonstrating the shared commitment of both organizations towards supporting specially abled students.
Recognizing the Foundation's continued social initiatives, Tata Steel voluntarily partnered in the program by donating grocery essentials worth ₹12,187 for the benefit of the school and its students. The donation aimed to support the institution's daily requirements and contribute to the well-being of the children.
The event was graced by Mr. Venkat Pumpatwar, CEO of Tata Steel Branch Office, Ms. Sujata, HR Head, and other Tata Steel employees, who personally visited the school and interacted with the students. They enthusiastically tried to understand and communicate through sign language, making the interaction meaningful and memorable for everyone present.
During the event, Principal Mr. Bhosale shared that the students possess exceptional talent in fine arts and drawing. As a gesture of gratitude, the students presented their handmade artwork to the guests, showcasing their creativity and expressing heartfelt appreciation.
The Foundation's Senior Social Worker and Project Manager concluded the event by expressing sincere thanks to the Tata Steel team for their generous support and commitment to social responsibility.
Through this initiative, Swachetna Foundation strengthened its mission of inclusive education, corporate social responsibility, and community collaboration, ensuring that specially abled students receive the encouragement, resources, and opportunities they deserve.
