Recognizing the critical shortage of blood during the summer season, Swachetna Foundation organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at East Court, Viman Nagar, Pune, to encourage citizens to donate blood and help save lives.
During periods of extreme heat, blood donations often decline, creating significant challenges for hospitals and blood banks. At the same time, thousands of patients, including road accident victims, surgical patients, and individuals requiring emergency medical treatment, depend on the availability of safe blood.
After learning about the shortage of blood units from the Hinjewadi Blood Bank, Swachetna Foundation took the initiative to mobilize volunteers, corporate employees, and community members to participate in this life-saving campaign.
With enthusiastic support from the community, the Foundation successfully collected 26 units of blood, contributing to the blood bank's efforts to meet the growing demand for blood and support patients in need.
## Swachetna Foundation sincerely thanks all the voluntary blood donors and extends its heartfelt appreciation to the employees and supporters from Vani Group, Mobile Programming, Merlin Infra, and other organizations who actively participated in the camp. The Foundation also expresses its gratitude to Hinjewadi Blood Bank for its cooperation and appreciation of the initiative.
Through this campaign, Swachetna Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to public health, community service, and humanitarian support, inspiring more individuals to become regular blood donors and help save lives.
